Second Anniversary of EUROPAFRIQUE

EUROPAFRIQUE promoted economic cooperation between European and African countries at a time when many African states were building new national institutions. The initiative encouraged partnerships in trade, agriculture, industry and technical development.
Its second anniversary reflected the expectation that structured cooperation could strengthen emerging economies and expand exchanges between the two continents. The programme presented shared expertise and investment as instruments for long-term development.
