The Bréguet 14

The Bréguet 14 was a highly successful French biplane designed during World War I that subsequently played a pioneering role in trans-Saharan aviation and early airmail delivery. Operating along the legendary Lignes Aériennes Latécoère (later Aéropostale), the aircraft carried mail and passengers across North and West Africa, frequently flying along the Mauritanian coastline between Casablanca and Dakar and connecting remote desert outposts with Europe.
